Last year we announced our involvement with SONY's WIPEOUT HD team, but exactly what we were doing was a closely guarded secret!.... until now.... We are proud to announce that we remixed all of the licensed tracks in 5.1 discrete surround sound that really do make WIPEOUT HD a real HD experience! "Having all of the assets available to create real 5.1 mixes was a dream on this project" said Rik ede. "The feedaback we have had from both SONY and the artistes involved has been nothing short of awesome" he continued. "You are always wary that whilst you want to perfom excellence in surround, you have to remain true to the original tracks and dynamics", all i can say is that it was absolutely fantastic to be given a free reign to do whatever i wanted to do in surround and of course that meant that both Sony and the Artistes had to be happy with what I had done. All of the tracks were brillant before I went anywhere near them, so I had my work cut out trying to do them justice but when i listen to them now, I cant help but thank the artistes involved for providing such great epic tracks for me to play with as without them none of this would have been possible - I just hope they are as proud of there work as I am of mine!
